The Blue Rising series takes earthy tones like burnt umber and contrasts them with brights like ultramarine, fluorescent orange, primary cyan, quinacridone rose pink.

Though created at the same each one is unique. Each of thes miniatures is framed in a dark wood grain deep edge floater frame. The effect is as if the work is painted on one solid piece of wood - that it emerged from the land itself.
